Either they failed in another poker room or they’re new to the game. This is the type of player you want to be playing against as much as possible.
Another good way to profile poker players in an online poker environment is to watch the speed of their bets. Many people bet quickly when they have a relatively strong hand, take a long to time to fold, and have monsters when they wait for a while and then go all-in. On the other hand, if a player is to take the same amount of time on every hand, regardless of what action they take, then this is often a strong player and someone you want to tread carefully with.
A third way to profile an online poker player is to watch what they do on the chat board. If they’re constantly chatting, then they’re most likely not a very strong player.
